Deep dive into the Wyckoff Spring and Upthrust + Video at the end

(Check the Video at the end)

Welcome to this Wyckoff Spring and Upthrust Deep Dive

This post will introduce you in detail what the video includes as it goes much deeper into the nuances of the Wyckoff Spring and Upthrust trading setups.

By the end of it, you will know and have some confidence why entering at the levels shown in the picture below makes sense!

ARES, Daily Springs

So my initial idea was to answer the first 3 questions from readers of the blog. But it evolved into an extensive 1-hour Deep Dive. I know that's a lot of time and is not the standard catchy 5-10 minute Youtube format that just grabs your attention and often leaves you with nothing, but the dopamine reward. The content here is intense and worth it in my humble opinion. Made it for you!

Big Shoutout to Max, John and rockingthisthing.

Whoever you are, Folks, you made this next step more interesting and clearer for the rest Spring Hunters.

I am pleased to see that your questions are the same ones I had when I first started observing this setup. We as traders have similar problems to solve, and how we solve them results in our unique edge and trading strategy. That is why there are no two traders that execute the same trades and setups. There is always some flavor you want to add to it. This is why I will show you some discretionary examples at the end of the video. Approach them at your own risk as discretion comes from our own experiences and market studies. What made sense to me might not be suitable for you.

What the video is covering

I will tackle the concrete questions raised about the Wyckoff Spring and Upthrust, but also fundamental questions such as identifying support and resistance. Predicting their strength and possible momentum shift. Interpreting Charles Dow's timeless insights on-trend types and how we can practically use them within the context of the Wyckoff Spring setup. We delve into the significance of previous price levels, discuss the validity of Springs in the absence of clear support and resistance zones. And provide real-world examples featuring the ARES stock and two forex pairs.

The Wyckoff Spring and Upthrust Deep Dive answers questions like:

  • How do you identify support resistance?
  • How do you know if the Support or Resistance will hold?
  • What does Charles Dow has to say about the trend types and how to use this to trade Wyckoff Springs and Upthrusts?
  • Which is the relevant previous high or low and where we should take the Spring or Upthrust?
  • Should you take the Spring or Upthrust if there was no visible previous support and resistance zone?
  • If the high or low is revisited multiple times does that invalidate the Spring trading setup?
  • Examples in the ARES stock, EURAUD, and AUDCAD forex pairs

More advanced techniques and some discretionary trading examples

But that's not all – we go beyond the basics to explore some more advanced techniques. Including Tom Hoggard's fishing technique, a variation of the Spring with an example in another Forex pair AUDCAD. Nested Upthrust patterns with confluence from the Gartley 222.  How to leverage moving averages and get higher time frame confidence to fine-tune your entries. Plus, learn how to gauge momentum strength using the angle of trend lines, adding another dimension to your trading arsenal.

However, let's be clear – none of the insights shared here constitute trading advice. I hope this educational content will become a catalyst for crafting your unique edge and perfecting your trading setup. Remember, success in trading demands dedication and hard work. I'll provide the ideas, insights, and analysis, but the real journey lies in your hands.

Now, I urge you to watch the video!

Then perform your research and Share your findings and results.

I'd be the greatest of pleasure to know what you've discovered.

Stay tuned, and happy hunting, Folks.

Yours truly,

the Spring Hunter
